Bemerton Heath Community Centre

The green light has been given for work to start on the new Bemerton Heath Community Centre.
The Community Centre which will be located next to the Neighbourhood Centre has received backing from Salisbury District Council and has passed the planning application stage, work on renovating the former shop will start in September, with the grand opening planned for November.
Activities at the long awaited Community Centre will be overseen by the Bemerton Heath Residents Association which has been campaigning long and hard to open Bemerton Heath’s first community centre. Activities will include a youth club, an over 60s luncheon club and a tea dance.
The Neighbourhood Centre will oversee the fabric of the building and aid the Residents Association where needed.
