Bemerton Heath Family Fun Day and Salisbury Playday

August will see the Bemerton Heath Neighbourhood Centre working in partnership with Salisbury District Council to organise a massive day out for all the family. The event being held at Salisbury High School on Saturday 2nd August between 1-5pm will combine the sixth annual Bemerton Heath Family Fun Day with the National Playday which is the annual celebration of children’s right to play.
The venue is a huge playing field with fabulous views across Salisbury Plain and the city. We hope to have a climbing wall, alternative sports like power kiting and alternative frisbee, along with a BMX track that the young people can try and displays to inspire them. There will also be a car boot sale, live music, bouncy castles and trampolines, fairground rides and refreshments alongside community stalls and messy play for the very young, or anyone else who would like to remember how it feels to be a child!
